MDU V.C. prescribes SUCCESS MANTRA to the students

 To succeed in life, aim high, work hard with devotion, develop a unique personality, and inculcate moral values in one self. This mantra of success was given by Vice Chancellor of Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) H.S. Chahal to the participants of Soft Skills and Personality Development programme being organized by the Youth Centre for Skill Development under the aegis of Students’ and Youth Welfare Office of the University.
          Vice Chancellor H.S. Chahal said that in this competitive era, developing communication skills is of utmost importance. He laid emphasis on personal grooming too for success in corporate sector. He congratulated the centre for this unique programme. Dean, Students’ Welfare Prof. Rajbir Singh, Director, Youth Welfare Jagbir Rathee also spoke on the occasion.
          Project Director, Youth Centre for Skill Development Lt. Col. (Retd.) D.S. Deswal gave an overall presentation about the activities of the centre. He informed that about 70 students who underwent training under the centre have been selected for Armed Forces and Para-military forces. Associate Professor, Dept. of Psychology Dr. Shalini Singh conducted the programme. Several participants expressed their views about the programme, and said that this unique programme has helped them in personality transformation.
